Every year, we eagerly anticipate the stunning superbloom of wildflowers that graces the Cuyama Valley. We immerse ourselves in the essence of freshly milled flour, mixed with the mesmerizing sight of blooming wildflowers. Join us for a weekend of culinary delights, education, and reveling in the splendor of our true Hidden Valley of Enchantment.

The celebration kicks off on Friday with a welcome wildflower cocktail during check-in, and later that evening, a performance by Victoria Bailey, hailed as a “California songwriter and honky tonk woman,” and the option to enjoy a wood-fired pizza in the Buckhorn Garden.

On Saturday morning, guests can participate in a baking workshop led by Loria Stern of Eat Your Flowers. Loria will guide attendees through the art of crafting her renowned flower cookies, showcasing flour sourced from our good friends over at the Tehachapi Grain Project. She'll also share insights into the flour's origins and its crucial role in the cookie-making process. Each participant will have the opportunity to decorate six cookies using flowers from Loria’s personal garden and partner farms like Elder Flat Farm in Los Alamos.

In the afternoon, guests can enjoy Afternoon Tea on the lawn, where they will indulge in the cookies they decorated, accompanied by Flowerhead Tea — the featured tea brand of the weekend. As night falls, attendees will savor a multi-course dinner inspired by local flavors.

Lastly, we invite our guests to venture out to our neighbors at Condor’s Hope Vineyard for an exploration of nature's beauty on Sunday at 11:30. Led by California natural history expert, Steve Gliessman, embark on a guided nature walk to uncover the secrets of native plants emerging after the winter rains. Delight in a sensory journey with wine and olive oil tastings, complemented by delectable hors d'oeuvres, all crafted from their organic, dry-farmed grapes. Don't forget to bring a packed lunch from the Buckhorn to savor amidst the vineyard's panoramic views.

Join us for a weekend of culinary delights, education, and reveling in the splendor of our true Hidden Valley of Enchantment.
